Oh, Bob, you've made Uncle Fester's day!

"Self agrandizing" isn't how it's spelled. And "amuzing" must be one of those unusual spellings picked up in the back alleys of the Castro because Uncle Fester spells it "amusing" as in, "your attempt to be acerbic would be amusing if you could actually pull it off with any aplomb instead of looking like a giant oozing hemorrhoid"

It seems spelling skills or spell check aren't needed for managing editors these days. A bottle of Otard XO and a lack of wit seems to fit the bill.

Was David C. Churbuck being self-aggrandizing?

Damn, Bob, it would be hard to make your case. Try for me, call it a Christmas present, goodwill, and all that. I'm unsure what made your little pecker hard in the above. Was it that David was on the masthead of the Forbes mother ship? His prep school ties? His kudos for Spanfeller?

I actually visited Forbes.com more than once back in the day and knew many people who worked there. David was very modest with the above. If you could first spell and then point out any self-aggrandizing passages above, we could actually have something to discuss. Instead, we're left here with a pissing match and between us, Bob, I'm going to win. That's how it goes so get used to if you haven't already.

Also, what the hell is Forbes ASAP? I asked at my local newstand this morning and the very nice Indian man looked at me like I had just launched some nukes from Pakistan.

Are you really the managing editor of a defunct magazine? My web search brings up a Fall 2002 issue. Have you really been walking around for four years playing editor instead of learning to spell?

Bob, time to turn in those business cards. Tim might let you use them out of some sort of preppy pity but you really need to move on. That ship has sunk and instead of leaving bitter comment turds you should dust off the old resume.

Merry Christmas, Bob!
