Looks like Google Video is all TV shows -- or something akin -- so your video will likely get you one of those nice, "Dear Sir, thank you for your submission but unfortunately we regret to inform you..."

Just think if Google allowed users to submit video. You think Yahoo chat rooms were a problem? How many hits should the 15 year old volleyball team from Dallas really be getting? Or worse.

The closed captioning on TV shows is a quick and dirty keyword system long available on PC PVRs.

As for portable video, Sony's "concerns" over UMD porn ring hollow. I don't thing Sir Howard will do much to turn that revenue down.

In the end, home video is like home pictures: few will care to view it unless it's (a) porn; (b) their kid is also in it; (c) porn; (d) someplace they are considering for a vacation; (e) a kid falling out of a car and hitting his face; (f) porn; and finally, in the immortal South park: Pets through a wide angle lens

Such is America's Stupidiest Home Movies.
