The same type of thing happened to me. Their customer support is some of the worst that I have seen. After explaining to support my problem with the printing, the man replied "Thanks for updating me on this issue. I understand your case and I wish there was something I could do to help. Hopefully, you'll be able to make the corrections should you decide to order a new book. :)" Not only was this not helpful, but it was said in such a way that it was my error. I shouldn't have to make corrections to something that I didn't do wrong. I'm not buying another book. The response above about me even considering buying another book is unfair.

I have heard the hype about blurb -- and all I can say is that their photo quality -- and their customer service -- leaves a lot to be desired.

I ordered my first book as a beta user, and let them know that the images were darker than they should have been. The 'very nice' support guy asked me to send them back the book, which I did.

7 weeks and 8 emails later -- no book. He keeps acting surprised. Meanwhile, they have my $65, and I have no book. Funny enough -- they have no phone number listed. You can get it through information 415-362-2067 -- but no one answers. Including PR, sales, Tech Support, the operator and Eilene Gittins, the president.

Cute and sexy DEMO 06 debut aside -- is there anything under the covers over there at Blurb?
