    I tried Cotiut, MA to Largs, Scotland (charming coastal town) and it insisted that I go to Boston Harbor to start my swim and then go to France before heading to the British Isle. Daffy.

    You can swim to France and drive from there as far East as Moscow or Helsinki, but not to Jersusalem or Bagdad. You cannot swim to Cape Town.
