The upside of working at home

Published by at 6:36 am under Cape Cod

13 degrees at 6 am, northwest wind gusting 30 right down from Hudson Bay. Bundle up, walk the dogs, grab the paper,  and light a fire.

I’ll take an office with a fireplace over a view any day. Though the view isn’t too bad.

Is that Capt. Chatfield’s sword? The era is right, and it looks like an officer’s.

    Yes it is. Good eye.

not to mention working in your robe and slippers and access to good coffee as opposed to some flavia single use coffee bullet

    Flavia? Ewwww.
Peet’s French Roast for me: espresso grind, double-strength, no milk, no sugar, melt the spoon, induces immediate panic attack and a rush visit to the bathroom.

Color me green with envy. Somehow an 8×8 office with beige desktops, a whiteboard, and florescent lights just doesn’t match up.

try a lava lamp and some of these nifty posters to liven things up in that dreary 8×8

I’d forgotten the sword. Capt Chatfield? 1st Masachusetts, probably?
