the eagle ray was just finnig around, doing a couple of nice leaps and flops for da halibut when the evil war mongering imperialist boater invaded his space. Let’s hear it for the Eagle Ray. Anyway it looks like a rented boat.

Got hit in the back by a flying fish while sitting in a boat at night in Indonesian waters. Felt like a horse kicked me – sent me sprawling. I’d think anything much larger could be lethal, although flying fish pack a real punch as they move very fast.
They are having huge problems with Asian Carp in Southern Illinois. They like to jump when boats are moving high speed on the Illinois River. A lot of people are dislocating shoulders, breaking arms, etc. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jb8OmEr7VqI
