Sailing in the park

I looked at this from my yard all weekend. (That’s my place in the back ground.) It’s a big old sail that an artist, Michael Marisi Orenstein painted.

“This fully functional sail is close to 100 feet long. It will be installed and exhibited this weekend as part of ArtAgua in Cotuit, Ma.”

ARTagua was a wave of force – with 10 galleries of artists’ works and another group of antiquarians displaying furniture and decorative items “borne of the sea.”

Michael Ornstein’s “Sail” series was a featured part of this first ARTagua exhibit in Cotuit’s maritime festival called SeaCotuit.

From these photos I see that the Churbuck family had the best seat in the house!

    Prepare to get wet!
