		<description>David,

I don&#039;t know if you remember me from your tenure at IDG. I handle PR and marketing at IDG Communications (Bob and the media BUs).

I wanted to catch you before you head off to Beijing. I visited China and attended an IDG meeting there four years ago. What a different and interesting country! Never been somewhere where English is very much in short supply. Should have a great time at the Olympics. I know Lenovo is doing a big promotional push for it.

I seek your notebook advice. My daughter is going for her MBA starting next month. She needs a new PC and wants a notebook that isn&#039;t a boat anchor. She&#039;ll need the basics: net access, MS Office, hopefully XP, etc. The T61 looks interesting. I read about it on lenovo.com, PC World, and Consumer Reports, along with the various purchase options. Is the T61 what you&#039;d recommend? Lenovo.com seemed to have good prices, too.

Thank you for your advice.
